Little tea time story! 😊

Last night it was almost midnight, and I was preparing to bake well into the morning after making significantly more bagels than I did for last week's test run.

As bakers, we know a pretty picture is visually pleasing, and we love to share those... when we actually have time to take the picture that is. What those beautiful photos don't show are the late nights, the flour everywhere, the endless dishes (that my amazing husband takes care of ❤️), or the quiet moments with a cup of tea while everyone else is asleep.

Every loaf, bagel, and treat is made by one very real (and occasionally very sleepy 😅) human, and I truly love what I do. I also love connecting with others who know the struggle.

So if you've ever bought a loaf from me, shared a post, or simply cheered me on.. thank you! I wouldn't trade it for the world! I absolutely love the connections and the smiles I see on your faces when picking up your orders!

It may be hot outside but it is also beautiful. Dressed up my sourdough today just for fun and I kind of love it! I also want to play around with some new flavors, but I'm not sure what just yet... 🤔 Send me your ideas please please please. Today's menu is a simple one, organic plain, green chile jalapeno cheddar, and just for fun a pink swirl... pinkish swirl 😂 plain sourdough loaf.

I'll be out at Furniture 42 with my mom AKA Sugar Shack 'N Snacks until 7PM today, and tomorrow 10AM - 7PM.

I really loved our UFO theme... I really did but... I'm so happy to be done with it and back to my pink bags. Or maybe I'll do another theme next month. I'm thinking butterflies and flowers or... What theme bread would you want to see?

Now, I always try to make the sourdough "out of this world" 😂 always perfecting and testing but officially this is the last weekend to get yourself a black bag with a cute alien face on it and some fun coordinates for an extraterrestrial out of this world experience.

I'll be set up once again with Sugar Shack 'N Snacks today Saturday June 19th and tomorrow June 20th until 7PM.

I anticipate the sourdough aliens will be sold out pretty quick for Father's Day tomorrow so if you want to ensure you get one, just let me know and we'll get you all set up.

I absolutely love the way these mini loaf sampler boxes turned out!

I’ve also been testing out a new jam… or sauce… honestly, whatever you want to call it. 😄 It’s spreadable, spoonable, and definitely not limited to toast. Drizzle it over ice cream, swirl it into desserts, blend it into a smoothie — it’s one of those little treats that feels special every time you use it.

We're calling it Cherry Kiss Champagne Jam — sweet cherries with a subtle champagne finish, and it feels just right for the upcoming Valentine’s season 💕

Each sampler includes four mini sourdough loaves and a 4 oz jar of the new jam, making it a cozy, indulgent way to enjoy a little bit of everything.

Because everything is handmade by me, in small batches, quantities are truly limited. Once these are gone, that’s it for this bake.

These will be going up on the website soon for pre-orders. Until then, you’re always welcome to browse what’s currently available or message me directly with any questions. ☺️
