Good Monday morning, bread friends! ☀️🍞❤️

Well, I’m still battling this jet lag, and let me tell ya… it is NOT fun! 😂 But on the bright side, my sourdough starter is waking up nicely and doing its thing! 🙌

I’ll be getting back into the kitchen soon to start working on a couple of NEW goodies! 👀 I’m talking about a new sweet treat AND a new bread! 🤫😍 I can’t wait to experiment, get everything just right, and share these delicious new creations with y’all!

Good afternoon, bread friends! ❤️🍞

I’m back home from Korea and have officially pulled my starter out of the fridge to start waking it back up! ☺️

It’ll still be a couple of weeks before Wild Rise is back in the kitchen, but I’m getting things rolling again! I’ll be reaching out to my regular folks first to let them know when I’m ready to start taking orders, and then I’ll make a post to let everyone else know, too.

While I was in Korea, I got to visit some amazing pastry shops, and let’s just say… I came home with a little inspiration! 🤭🥐 There are a couple of things I want to work on and hopefully bring a little Korean pastry shop inspiration to Wild Rise!

I’m excited to get back to baking, try a few new things, and share them with you all! Thank you for being so patient while I took this time to enjoy a pretty incredible family adventure. ❤️

Good afternoon, bread friends! ❤️ Well, super early morning for me! ☀️🇰🇷

TODAY IS THE DAY!!! Our oldest son is getting married!! 🥹❤️💍

What an experience this trip has been so far! From the long journey to South Korea, getting to experience a whole new culture, spending time with family, and taking in all the sights, it’s been nothing short of amazing!

Today, we get to watch our son say “I do. Please keep the happy couple in your prayers as they begin this new adventure together!

There is SO much to see, experience, and take in, and I’m trying to soak up every minute of this amazing adventure! From the sights and culture to the FOOD, there’s just so much to love! ❤️

And let me tell y’all…my daughter-in-law took me to a WONDERFUL pastry shop! 🥐😍 I tried the BEST croissant with chocolate in the middle! YUM doesn’t even begin to describe it! 🤤❤️🥐

Well…good evening for me! 😂🇰🇷

We made it safely to South Korea, and y’all…WOW! It is absolutely amazing! ❤️

I cannot wait to try all the amazing pastries here and all the food! You know this bread lady is going to be paying close attention to the bakeries! 😂🥐🍞 You can take the baker out of the kitchen, but apparently you can’t take the baker away from the bread…or the pastries!

For now, I’m just soaking it all in, making memories, and being thankful we made it here safely. What a blessing to be able to experience this with our family during such a special time. ❤️

Wild Rise may be quiet for a little while, but I’m sure I’ll be sharing plenty of pictures and adventures along the way!

Good morning, bread friends! ☀️🍞✈️
Today is the day!! 😳❤️

Nervous? YES! Excited? ABSOLUTELY! Ready? Well…we’re about to find out! 😂

The bags are packed, the plane is waiting, and today we’re headed off! ✈️🇰🇷❤️

I’ve been so busy with baking, weddings, ranch life, and ALL the things that I’m not sure it has fully sunk in yet. But today, as I’m sitting here looking at this plane, it’s starting to feel very real!

I’m incredibly thankful for the opportunity to make this trip, celebrate our son and his bride, and make memories we’ll never forget.

So for now, the bread ovens are quiet, the starters are resting, and this bread mama is taking a deep breath and heading across the world. ❤️

Keep us in your prayers for safe travels—and maybe a little extra prayer for my nerves! 😂🙏🏻
Next stop…SOUTH KOREA! 🇰🇷✈️❤️

Good morning, bread friends! 🍞❤️

It’s October!! Cooler weather, shorter days, and OPENING DAY OF DEER SEASON! 🦌
I know some of y’all (me included) have been waiting for this day! Good luck to all the hunters heading out.🦌

BUT, let’s talk about one of my favorite things…BREAD! 🍞 Here are a few fun sourdough sandwich loaf facts:

✨ The longer fermentation helps develop that delicious sourdough flavor and gives the dough time to develop its texture.

✨ Sourdough doesn’t have to mean a hard, crusty loaf! A sourdough sandwich loaf can be soft, fluffy and perfect for toast, sandwiches or just eating a slice straight off the loaf. (We’ve all done it. 😂)

✨ And around here, my loaves are made with Oklahoma-milled flour, local honey, & milk. Good quality ingredients make good bread! ❤️

So whether you’re headed to the woods this morning or staying home with a cup of coffee and a warm piece of toast, I hope y’all have a great Thursday!

Good morning, bread friends! ☀️🍞

Today is my final delivery day in the Fairview area for this month! 🥹

All three of my sourdough starters — Butler’s Gold, Purple Grain, and my regular sourdough — are resting in the fridge until I get back. I’m a little sad to step away from the kitchen, but I’m also so happy and excited for what’s ahead! ❤️✈️

Now…off I go to finish getting ready for Fairview deliveries and, of course, our next wedding! 🥰

While I’m away, feel free to message or text me! I truly love hearing from all of my customers, and I’ll still be popping on here and posting randomly whenever I can. 🤗❤️ And YES…EXPECT LOTS OF PICTURES!! 😂📸

What a beautiful morning! A little rain coming in, and I’m not mad about it one bit. I LOVE rainy mornings! ❤️ There’s just something about the sound of rain that makes everything feel a little slower and sweeter.

Today is BAKE DAY!!! 🎉 And let me just say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all the orders! The bread list filled up so fast I couldn’t squeeze another loaf in, and the cookie orders… WOWZA!! Y’all are amazing, and I am so incredibly thankful for every single one of you! ❤️

Now, besides spending the day baking up all the goodies, the countdown begins again… our oldest son’s wedding is next!!! 🥰✈️💍 (picture is the happy couple, aren’t they cute!!)

Apparently we like to keep things exciting around here! 😂
