Our owner, Billy, believes that no one should go hungry. Part of our corporate mission is to support organizations that help to alleviate food insecurity. We are proud to be a longtime supporter of Blessing Warriors RVA Inc., an incredible organization that provides meals and services to the unshelterd. Today, we are sending out to their sandwich teams 150 pounds of fresh sliced turkey breast. They will get another 100 pounds tomorrow. This will help them provide nourishing food to those that they serve. Please consider volunteering or donating to this all-volunteer organization.

WHISK is proud to support the arts in Central Virginia.

Virginia Repertory Theatre, a Central Virginia institution for over forty years is in trouble and needs our help. This place has changed so many lives....from providing opportunities for artists to make a living following their dreams, to the economic impact on the Downtown Richmond community.

And, let's not forget one of Virginia Rep's programs, currently on hiatus, has been instrumental in giving thousands of children across the state the courage and power to reclaim their childhoods by speaking up and being saved from sexual abuse.

If there was ever a time to think about supporting the arts, it's now. Without the help from the community it serves, Virginia Rep will have to close the doors for good at the end of this month.
I'm doing my part to help.

We at WHISK are doing our part to help. WHISK is fully underwriting a community benefit dinner. Our owner, Billy, is pulling his chef's jacket out of the closet and hitting the kitchen to make a full spaghetti dinner with all the fixings, including some of his famous homemade desserts.

Dinner will be followed by a cabaret show featuring some of Richmond and Broadway's best and brightest stars. It's happening tomorrow night from 5:30 until.... If you can't stay for the show, stop by for dinner. There is also a live stream available. If you can't make either, please consider a monetary donation. WHISK is proud to fully underwrite this dinner to save a valuable part of Central Virginia Arts & Culture. If there was ever a time to support an organization that had made a difference in so many people’s lives, now is the time.

Wednesday, September 25—join for a delicious dinner and fantastic show by a lineup of Richmond’s stars to benefit SAVE THE REP at the Virginia Rep Center for Arts and Education (4204 Hermitage Road Richmond, VA 23227).

Dinner starts at 5:30 with the show following at 7:30 PM—featuring Grey Garrett, Durron Tyre, Debra Wagoner, and more.

🍝 Dinner includes spaghetti meal, salad, garlic bread, beverage, & dessert. Show feat WHISK is proud to fully underwrite this dinner to save a valuable part of Central Virginia Arts & Culture. WHISK is proud to be a supporter of Virginia Repertory Theatre. We had the honor of making this cake for their Dessert Dash Auction, which is part of their Anything Goes Gala, being held tonight at The Jefferson. The cake is 18 layers of deliciousness…Lemon-Honey, Pistachio-Cherry and Vanilla Bean-Blackberry. Finished with a vanilla buttercream and decorated to reflect A Night in New Orleans.
