💖Happy Dog Mom’s Day to all the amazing moms loving on their pups every single day!

Dogs make our lives whole in the most beautiful way. They fill our homes with laughter, our hearts with unconditional love, and remind us every day what pure joy looks like. Being a dog mom is truly one of the greatest roles we’ve ever had the privilege of playing.

So in honor of that love… we did the most dog mom thing we could think of and welcomed another pup in need into our home 🐶

Meet Ukulele aka Ukie… our newest foster baby for ❤️ This sweet little 8 week old boy is smart, handsome, cuddly, and wonderful in all the best good-boy ways. He’s already completely stolen our hearts and we are so excited to help him find a dog mom (or family) of his very own!

This has been one of the hardest posts for us to write.

If you’ve been part of Clementine’s Dog Bakery for a while, you know how much the RVA Big Market season means to us..it’s one of our favorite parts of the year!

Which is why this is so hard to say: we won’t be returning to the market this season.

Over the past several months, we’ve been navigating ongoing medical challenges with Ariela, and it’s required us to take a very honest look at our limits. As much as we want to show up the way we always have, pushing through right now just isn’t sustainable.

This decision didn’t come easy, but it is the most responsible way for us to keep going…in a way that protects our health and the future of the bakery.

The good news is, we’re still here and still baking!

Our Treat Society is continuing, and it’s become one of the most meaningful ways we’re able to connect with you right now. It allows us to work at a pace that’s manageable while still creating the kind of treats you know and trust. If you’ve been thinking about joining, this is a really impactful way to support us (and keep your pup stocked).

We know many of you rely on the market, and while we won’t be there, we always encourage supporting small, asking questions, and choosing businesses that prioritize quality and transparency.

Thank you for continuing to show up for us with so much kindness and understanding! It truly means everything!

We had to celebrate the only way we know how… with dogs and cake.

Seeing that number pop up made us pause for a moment because every single person here got here the same way Clementine’s has grown for nearly 15 years through real relationships. Conversations at the market. Customers telling their friends. Dogs we’ve met face to face who came back again and again for cookies, cakes, and celebrations.

We’ve never bought followers, done follow-for-follow, boosted numbers, or used ambassadors to grow this page. Every person here showed up because of a genuine connection, and that means more to us than any big number ever could.

Over the years we’ve had the privilege of meeting thousands of incredible dogs. We’ve celebrated birthdays, gotcha days, holidays, and sometimes the bittersweet moments too. Being trusted to spoil your dogs and be part of those moments is something we never take for granted.

So this little cake celebration is for all of you.
