Macaroni KID Richmond

🎃 The verdict after one of our Macaroni KID families took four kids costume shopping at Spirit Halloween?

Make the trip part of the Halloween fun.

Their crew included a 6-year-old obsessing over Fortnite accessories, a 9-year-old finding her witch costume, two teenagers piecing together totally different looks with their friends, and all six of them stopping approximately every 30 seconds to look at something else. 😂

They found plenty for every age, from tiny toddler costumes all the way up through adult looks. And between the costumes, accessories, décor and animatronics, there was plenty to explore even after everyone had decided what they wanted to be.

If you want to turn costume shopping into an actual spooky-season outing instead of just another errand, this is a fun one. 👻

Thank you, Spirit Halloween, for hosting this Macaroni KID crew and helping them officially kick off Halloween season!

🎮 When a 6-year-old walks into Spirit Halloween already knowing he wants to be something from Fortnite, you have a mission.

When he finds Fishstick? Mission accomplished.

When he ALSO discovers the most ridiculous cartoon-looking Fortnite daggers to complete the costume? Game over.

One of our Macaroni KID parents said he talked about those things for basically their entire shopping trip. She’s not normally big on toy weapons, but these were so silly and perfectly in character that she finally got to say the words he’d been waiting for:
“Yes, you can get them.”
The JOY. 😂

And that’s part of what makes the accessories so much fun at Spirit Halloween. Finding the costume is one thing, but finding that little extra that makes a kid absolutely light up? That’s the good stuff.

“We're just going to Spirit Halloween to look at costumes.”

😂 Narrator: They were not just going for costumes.
Yes there were costumes selected.

Then somehow…
They needed to accessorize
They needed to try on all of the masks
They needed to fall in love with the pet costumes for a pet you don't have
They wanted to tell you everything they could make glow with the blacklight
They needed to push one more animatronic

🎃 At this point, we've stopped pretending we're in control of Halloween.

And honestly? We're okay with it - especially when there’s special offers when you sign up at spirithalloween.com. Just don't expect it to be a quick trip!

Finding a family vacation that keeps everyone happy isn't always easy, but Dreams Macao Beach Punta Cana comes pretty close.

Whether your crew loves splashing at the water park, spending the day on the beach, joining dance classes, trying new adventures, or simply relaxing by the pool, the Unlimited-Luxury® of Dreams Macao has something for every age.

Little ones can enjoy the Explorer's Club, teens have their own space at the Core Zone, and parents can sneak away to the Dreams Spa before everyone comes back together for great food, themed parties, and live entertainment.

And with beautiful accommodations, one of the Dominican Republic's best beaches, and a waterpark on site, getting to "vacation mode" is easy.

We loved getting a firsthand look at everything Dreams Macao has to offer—and it's easy to see why so many families make memories here.
