When we moved to Richmond almost 18 years ago, there were several little ones in our church. One of the ones that quickly became a favorite was a sweet little girl who had the cutest southern accent I had ever heard. She won our hearts. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of watching this precious little girl grow into the most amazing young lady. Her beautiful spirit and love for Jesus has been an absolute blessing to see. A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to make her wedding cake. She wanted handmade wildflowers on her cake and cupcakes. I was incredibly honored that she trusted me to make these treats for her special day!

This one was for one of my favorite customers. He and his sweet wife ran across my website and placed an order shortly after I started my business, and they have been faithful customers since. They’ve been patient with me as I’ve learned, and they are always incredibly encouraging. They’ve had me do cakes for numerous family members. They give me a general theme or color, then say, “We trust your creativity.” I hope they know how much I appreciate them!!

I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating. The best part of what I do is meeting so many wonderful people. I love getting to know a bride and helping fulfill her wedding dreams. For this sweet bride, I got to incorporate some of things she and her groom love most into their cake and cupcake designs. What a joy it was to work with her!
