Some people may charge extra for these, but this is just how we do things at Misfits 😘

1. Custom Flavors: I love making custom flavors for people. It lets me experiment and usually it’s stuff I already have. I have no problem making something that makes the customer happy

2. Consultations: While I’m all for charging for your time, I think these are critical steps in wedding cake orders and I charge accordingly in the actual cakes. Because the time I spend on consultations is 90% behind my desk, the price comes from the order itself, not the consultation. I want couples to focus on their vision, not all the extra fees.

3. Revisions: While I spend plenty of time on sketches, I think charging for minor revisions is, frankly, stupid. Customers have a vision and I want to make it come to life. If the sketches I show them aren’t 100% what they want, I want them to tell me! Starting out strong and being dependable is the best way to gain a repeat customer.
