I just want to dedicate this post to all my friends and clients and clients turned friends. I realize how blessed I am to have clients that trust me enough, to not just work on their cakes and treats for their special day, but you all give me so much creative freedom. I get a theme and usually that’s it maybe a color scheme and you let me do my thing. I’m just beyond thankful that you all trust me and for that I thank you ☺️ 🙌🏼

Hello I have been wanting to do an introductory post since I have had so many new followers. I forget at times that most of you do not know me lol. This account has/was/is my personal account turned baking page 😂 I share a bit of everything from my home life to my baking adventures. I’m so grateful for everyone of you that have taken a chance on me and trusted me with your orders
About me: I am Mariela Garcia I am 30 years old from California The Bay Area. I have two girls a 6 year old and a 1 year old. I started baking when I was in high school I went to my local culinary school. I changed careers so many times but one thing I always did was cook and bake. I was the girl at her job that had pies for sales in November and tamales in December. I started baking more frequently once my sister gave me my first KitchenAid aid mixer 🥰 I was shocked but I think she noticed how much I enjoyed baking for our kids birthdays. Maybe if it wasn’t for her I would still been watching YouTube videos of other people baking and decorating.
- Goals/ aspirations: My goal is to have my own bakery I noticed my oldest has a love for the kitchen like I do and having my own brick and mortar will give me something to pass on to her to give her the opportunity I never had. To have something to pass on to my girls like a baking business would be such a blessing. Of course they don’t have to bake if they didn’t want to but to have something there to fall on is just something I strive for.
