My sister's wedding took place in June, and I was privileged to create her wedding cake. Baked and frosted in NC, the cake was then transported nearly five hours to GA, where it was assembled at the venue. Ensuring the cake's safe arrival was a nerve-wracking experience. Nevertheless, I am ecstatic with the result, as it was my first attempt at a tiered cake.

Fresh milled sourdough artisan bread. I’ve started milling my own flour recently. Learning a TON on how different different wheat reacts than store bought flour. Some things like cakes I still use store bought flour because I haven’t gotten the texture right yet. But over all I’m proud of how these loaves turned out.

Today we celebrated my son’s 3rd birthday! He wanted a monster truck birthday! The tire is a chocolate cake with blueberry buttercream on the inside and chocolate buttercream on the outside. The dirt on top is cookie crumbs!

These a-ROAR-able cakes were made for a very special one-a-saurus! They are composed of strawberry cake filled with a strawberry filling. The smash cake is decorated entirely in buttter cream and the bigger birthday cake is buttercream with fondant details.
