Sharing for those who may have missed it ❤️
Hey everyone!
We have finally reached the best part of the year - THE HOLIDAYS. November and December are my two favorite months of the year for many reasons but mostly because I get to spend so much time with the people that mean the most to me.
As many of you know, I started this business in 2022, shortly after my daughter Charlie was born in December of 2021. I have been able to be a stay at home mom for almost 2 years and it has truly been a blessing. However, I have recently decided that it is time for me to return to work full time.
This does not mean I’m done baking - as baking and creating for all of you brings me so much joy. However, I do want to share a few updates:
- As I navigate this new chapter of my life I have decided that I will not be taking anymore orders for November or December as I want to take this time to transition into my new job and spend time with my family. There will also be no December delivery. I do hope this can return in the future on a weekend, as I loved doing this!
- There will be a new, downsized menu posted soon for when I do resume taking orders in January. This menu will include cakes, cupcakes & cookies only. I will not be doing cakepops.
- When I return in January I plan to focus primarily on events & weddings, as my availability will be pretty limited between work and my two children (ages 4 and almost 2).
- I will NOT be doing any more week day orders/pick-ups, as I will be working until 5pm. I will be allowing Saturday/Sunday pick-ups but will be implementing and enforcing pick-up times (unless discussed otherwise).
I am so grateful for each and every single like, comment, share and order that you guys have given me the last year and a half. I have evolved so much, not only as an entrepreneur and baker, but also in all other aspects of my life and I owe it to all of you.
I love you all more than you know!
Happy Holidays.
Xoxo,
Mikayla ❤️
