Never mind that I look like a complete nut in this picture. I was just so excited Fiona earned her doctorate. She is so fun & smart. She has a wonderful little group of friends that order cake for her, and they always ask one thing, they be as whimsical & unique as her!

Super fun cake for Cole. The bottle label had a mishap, but all in all, it turned out as planned? I literally had no plan, I just winged it on everything but the flavor. I was thinking about this amazing Guinness stout cake that my friend Jessica Tullos made, and sure enough Cole's sweet wife, KK, was having a beer party/death too 20s themed party for him, so I had to. This little beauty had a late night/early morning kinda of introduction. She also had to travel to Oklahoma in this blistering heat 🫠😫. But with God's grace (LITERALLY. I called out because I couldn't find something, and my undiagnosed ADHD kicked in....it was a thing.) She came to life. She's strawberry creme, super sweet, and very 🩷

So I have this weird theory about cakes having energy. Sometimes, there's a vibe around the event or the people that either work for or against the creation of the cake. I went into making this cake filled with joy and happiness. I reminisced a lot because I've known the bride since she was a child. I couldn't for the life of me find figs. She really wanted figs. And if baby girl wanted fig, I would no doubt go to 7-8 different store looking for them. I failed to realize they were not in season, but never fear I just made them. So everything on this cake is edible, the flowers, the fruit, and the sugar figs. When I saw her see her cake...I'm crying now just think about that moment. She was happy. I knew that I did my job. It's why I do what I do. I can do a thousand more cakes, but these types of cakes fill my heart and soul. Congrats Chlo

Cake is based on a popular skincare brand. Upon setting out to deliver it, my youngest yells out "oh no mom there's water all over the cake!" It took me a bit to realize that she actually thought it was "water" I guess I did my job🤣
