More than cheesecake.

This semester, we had the joy of working with JoJo through the SMU Spears Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership internship program.

JoJo brought curiosity, fresh perspective, and a willingness to learn into our small business, and we were reminded how valuable it is when students get to see entrepreneurship up close.

From research and marketing conversations to serving cheesecake and learning what it really takes to build a brand, this internship was about more than business marketing.
It was about community, mentorship, and helping shape the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Thank you, JoJo. Keep going. We’re cheering you on.

Today we’re celebrating 𝐄𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐚 and the 10 years she spent serving our country in the United States Navy.

From 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟎𝟒 𝐭𝐨 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟏𝟒, she served with dedication and a commitment to something bigger than herself. The experiences, values, and resilience she gained during those years continue to shape who she is today and the way she runs And I Like It.
