I made homemade mayo today, and I could not recommend it enough! The recipe is so easy, and it takes about 5 minutes to make. Today I also added a ‘Basil & Tomato’ seasoning, along with salt and pepper to make a more flavorful sandwich spread. Yum!

Mayo Recipe
- 1 egg
- 1 Tablespoon vinegar
- 1 Teaspoon mustard
- 1 cup avocado oil
- seasonings, to taste (optional)

1. In a wide mouth ball jar, add the egg, vinegar, and mustard. With an immersion blender, combine ingredients.
2. With the blender on, very slowly pour the oil into the jar. You want as tiny a stream of oil as possible at the beginning, nearly drop by drop. Too much at the beginning will cause the emulsion to break, so be patient.
3. Once you’ve poured about 1/3 of your oil, you should see it start to thicken up. Now you can add the oil a bit faster, and you’ll see it gets thicker as you add more.
4. After blending all the oil, you are done! If you are using seasonings, add it now to your liking. You may need to stir then in with a whisk or fork.

Store in the fridge for 2 weeks. Enjoy on hamburgers and sandwiches!

For those of you who have been so patient, our exciting new flavor is…

🎉 Espresso Chocolate Chip Sourdough 🎉

All recipes I found were chocolate heavy, using the espresso powder only to elevate the chocolate. Looking for a loaf that REALLY tastes like espresso and not too sweet, I took it into my own hands. After many test loaves, I believe this flavor couldn’t be better! Pictured below is the recipe as a half-size loaf 😋

So order now, for next week! Orders are open until Monday 5pm, and pickups are on Wednesday. The menu is as follows:

Classic $10
80% Whole Wheat $12
Espresso Chocolate Chip $8/$16 (half/whole)

Gorgeous fresh bakes!!

We’ve got cinnamon swirl, jalapeño cheddar, cheddar, and classic flavors shown here. I also did some testing and baked a cute little half loaf! These may be my prettiest and tastiest looking loaves yet, I’m jealous of those who get them!!
