Old souls bakery had to miss the markets this week due to a nasty migraine, but we wanted to at least take a few orders!

I am taking limited orders for Sunday and Monday! I am also interested in taking a few cake orders! The cake pictured is a snickers cake! But I can make just about any flavor! Discounted rate for custom cake orders! Place a pre order on my website or a cake order over DM!

Still learning the flow of this market! We have some work to do still but it’s so nice to meet so many new faces here! I love when people come up and tell me they’ve followed me on social media for a while and now finally get to try our products out!

Cakes have always been a big struggle for me, I don’t think I’m a particularly creative or artistic person so I’m not a huge fan of decorating them, and they are a bit labor intensive! I would much rather stick to scones and danishes!

However, I LOVE this cute little snickers cake. Chocolate cake layers with caramel peanut filling, peanut butter cream cheese icing, another layer of caramel peanut filling, and topped with some cute little milk chocolate bars. So proud of this one!

I think we will have some leftovers from the Idaho falls market today!

If anyone wants coffee cake or blueberry muffins they are 3 dollars each for pick up in rexburg. I may have one focaccia loaf too!

Still no beignets at this market, it’s hard for me to pump so many items out on my own in a short amount of time! Everything is made completely from scratch, by me, every Friday morning!

BUT, if you’re wanting beignets shoot me a message or come find me at the market and we can set up an order for a non market day!

Reminder: Tomorrows farmers market is at porter park! I haven’t settled on the final menu yet, but it will probably be similar to last week!

I will not have beignets this week, but will probably try to have some for next weeks market. I’ll keep you updated!

We are BACK at the rexburg farmers market tomorrow night! Probably no beignets this first week or two while I find my baking flow again, but we will have lots of other treats! Danish buns, cinnamon rolls, focaccia and more!
