Our 2nd birthday was yesterday! So that means it’s time to celebrate! Due to all of the rain this weekend we will not be partying it up this weekend.
So next Sunday is the date! The 18th of October.

We will be asking for donations of shelf stable food or hygiene items and bakery supplies (if you are able to donate)! But it will be free as always. Come celebrate the free bakery with us 🧁🧁🧁🧁

I LOVE Halloween, and I have never gotten to live in a place where we had trick or treaters. The past 2 places I lived I bought a ton of full sized candy bars and got 0 trick or treaters and was so sad!

I want to hand out candy so bad so this year I am bribing the community 😂

If you have kiddos and want to come grab candy, and possibly a Halloween themed bake, keep an eye out for some announcements closer to Halloween!!

Little free bakery Sunday! Apple Fritter Cake!

Apple fritter cake will be out in the free bakery later today

Due to the chaos of the last few drops I will no longer be announcing an exact time in advance. This is to avoid people knocking on our door, showing up an hour in advance etc.

I highly recommend turning my post notifications on and keeping an eye out for the “it’s out!” Post.

See you guys this afternoon ❤️

Free bakery is coming back soon!

I am sure most of you are familiar with the free bakery, but since a bunch of new students arrived this week I thought I’d reintroduce myself after taking the summer off!

I’m Alex, and I run the free bakery and free pantry in town. The free bakery is a free or donation based (if you’re able) bakery that I run most Sundays of the year. I make everything from scratch including pastries, cakes, cookies and more and give it away to the community on Sundays.

The free pantry is a food and hygiene cabinet resource for those who may need some help getting by. I try to keep it stocked with food essentials, baby items like diapers and wipes, hygiene items and more.

****** I am sick this week and will not be restocking the pantry or opening the free bakery BUT am planning to next week as long as I am feeling better. It is all first come first serve so please follow us on facebook or instagram for updates! And turn post notifications on 🙂
