There’s something comforting about knowing what’s for lunch. ❤️

At Teton Sourdough Co., we’re keeping things simple this summer with a mostly consistent weekly soup menu, made from scratch in small batches and served with fresh sourdough bread.

🌷 Saturday Lunch Update at Teton Sourdough Co. 🌷

We have had a busy morning at the bakery today — thank you for keeping us hopping! We sold out of all of our danishes early this morning thanks to several large orders, but we still have lots of yummy lunch and bakery options available. ❤️

A little thing we care about at Teton Sourdough Co.: our sausage gravy is made without MSG, and we do not use ingredients containing monosodium glutamate in our kitchen.

For those who missed our announcement, we are now in our summer hours. We will be open Thursday, Friday & Saturday until we switch back to our regular hours in the Fall.

Here is this week’s soup lineup (see menu below 👇), and a little peek at what’s in the bakery case too.

Summer Hours Update 🌿

Beginning this week, we are shifting into our summer hours for the season:

Thursday: 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
Friday: 11 a.m.–6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.–6 p.m.

Because we are a family-run shop, we also want to enjoy the short summer months here in Rexburg while still offering the foods our customers have come to love and the things we love to bake.

We will continue offering soup, sourdough bread, cinnamon rolls, pastries, danishes, cookies, scones, and other bakery items. During the summer months, we will be simplifying our soup menu and focusing more on our sourdough and bakery offerings.

Behind the scenes, we will also be working on new items and systems we hope to roll out over time, including weekly bread preorders, sandwiches, salads, and additional breakfast options.

These new offerings will not all happen at once. We want to take the time to adjust our kitchen setup, work through our processes, train our team, and make sure we can offer them well.

Make sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram for daily updates, special drops, preorder details, and announcements as we start testing and offering additional items.

🍞 Late-Night Bread Testing at Teton Sourdough Co. 🍞

Tonight, we had fresh bread coming out of the oven around 9:00 PM… and sure enough, a customer who had been asking about sandwich bread earlier in the day (thanks Renee!) stopped by to grab fresh loaves of our soft sourdough sandwich bread and cinnamon swirl bread right out of the oven. 🧡

We are currently in the test-baking phase, finalizing timing, consistency, and workflow so we can start offering more fresh breads throughout the summer.

This is actually something I normally would have offered at the farmer’s market, and I’ve been wanting to bring it into the shop in a way that feels sustainable, fresh, and predictable.

Potential breads we have made in the past and considering:

🍞 Soft Sourdough Sandwich Bread🍯 Honey Wheat Bread🍁 Maple Oatmeal Bread🥖 Fresh Dinner Rolls🇬🇧 Sourdough English Muffins✨ Cinnamon Swirl Bread

One thing we are seriously considering is a preorder or weekly bread subscription option so families can reserve fresh sourdough bread each week and we can bake the right amount fresh.

This could help us keep bread fresh, reduce waste, and make sure you get the loaves you actually want before they sell out.
