This week is vacation week for the bakery, but I had to put some delicious sourdough cinnamon rolls together to take to my oldest and me big brother. I will be back in the kitchen next week testing some new goodie’s for you all. Have a great weekend.

First open bake test loaf is in the books…

Learning the new setup and getting things dialed in:
• A little extra seasoning on the steel gave me some smoke during the 475° preheat.
• Expansion score could go a touch deeper next round.
• Crust baked up a bit darker than I usually aim for.

Now for the hardest part… waiting for it to cool so I can slice in and check out that crumb 😔
