There's a slight chill to the air today, more rain is moving in. I thought it was the perfect time to try a new recipe. I'd been waiting a while to give it a go and tweaked it just a bit adding lemon zest and a lavender syrup infused icing with lemon zest in it also. It is heavenly and the perfect tea time treat!! Alice approved. 💜

It's picture perfect to me.... a little dirty and moss covers our stairs. There's bugs that live here. Not everything is in rows and in our grass, weeds grow. We find magic, comfort and nourishment here. The bees, birds and squirrels love to visit, and giggles mix with birdsong. Toes are bare while garden soup is prepared, we find happiness here. In our dirty garden where the moss covers our stairs, our rows aren't perfect, and wildflowers grow, exactly as it should be, picture perfect to me. 💚

We've had a wonderful time in our gardens today and mommies forgotten how much I used to love to write. 🥰
