parkrun holds free, timed 5k runs every week around the world. Free one-time registration at parkrun.us gets you a personal barcode that you can use at any parkrun around the world. Renton parkrun takes place every Saturday morning, starting at 9:00 am from the Cedar River Trail Trailhead by the 405 overpass in Renton, WA. The address is 405 Cedar River Trail Walk, Renton, WA 98057. GPS coordinate

s: 47.4802N, -122.199W. We are able to offer parkrun to communities around the world because of generous volunteers who dedicate their time to this free event every weekend. UPDATE: parkrun is on for tomorrow ✅

Our hearts are with Winthrop Trailhead parkrun and our friends in Spokane. We've been monitoring air quality for parkrun on August 8th, 2026. If you're traveling and intent on participating this week, we suggest Des Moines Creek or Fort Ward where air quality may be better.

We will assess on Friday evening. If AQl is near or above 150, parkrun will be cancelled but folks are still welcome to meet at Common Ground for coffee and catching up. Smoke will likely stay around this weekend at levels unhealthy for sensitive groups, please take care and limit exposure and exertion this week.

Remember to check the Renton parkrun website for cancellations before you go.
