As many of you know and remember, this week last year changed my families lives forever. Levi was taken to Mott Children's Hospital after he collapsed at home and after 11 days he died! Levi was such a bright spot in all our lives and he was able to give his last gift of life to so many upon his death, more importantly Levi showed us what living in a small community really was, and that family isn't only blood. Our friends/family and community have been what has kept us going. Levi would want us to keep giving until we are with him again. Because of this we want to try to keep helping other families that are going through hard times! I will be collecting donations for the Ronald McDonald House again. RMDH was so wonderful to my family during this impossible time! There are so many families that need this place and never know it until it happens to them. If you would think of Levi and his family this week while you are getting back from maybe some holiday fun and find it in your heart to pick up something, no matter how little at the store, or something you may have at home to donate. They are always in need of blankets, hygiene products, playing cards, puzzle or word search book, water bottles or bags to pack them in. There are so many things they can use I will attach a list of a few. If you can drop it off at my house that would be amazing! 1691 Kern, Also, I will be having a cookout at my house on the 16th to celebrate Levi and his wonderful life and the gifts he gave! Anyone that would like to join us you is more then welcome! Just let me know if you are coming so we have lots of burgers and dogs! We will have Hamburg's and hot dogs, and lemonade starting at 4. Just come when you want, I know it's a Tuesday and people work! That's fine! Please bring a chair and if you don't want lemonade, bring a drink and a dish to pass! All are welcome!
