Recharging in the mountains this weekend, so we won’t be at the San Carlos market tomorrow morning. We will be doing our farmers market season FINALE next weekend (11/14) before we hunker down for the holidays. Don’t worry, we’ll be available for any holiday orders online. Link on our profile. We’ve been working on traditional 🇩🇪 style 🥨’s for the SC Farmers Market this weekend! It’s been fun incorporating a few different malts to get the perfect flavor profile! We’re going to have pretzel buns (2 for $7) for the market in addition to English Muffins & Artisan Breads. See you Sunday!

Chasing that perfect loaf! Sourdough is all about time and temperature (plus like 20 other things). The summer months are definitely harder to work around with fluctuating outside air temps. Keeping a close eye on bulk fermentation and knowing when to get dough shaped and in the fridge for cold fermentation is crucial. Doesn’t always work out…but sometimes you get that nice spring and beautiful ear. (📷: Poppy seed whole wheat, cheddar / jalapeños, oat porridge)

Think Father’s Day just happens to fall on a Sunday farmers market by chance??? No way! Like most things Dad’s do… it’s called precision planning. Sunday breakfast for all those #1 Dad’s out there HAS to include some English Muffins!! This Dad 🙋🏼‍♂️ will be down at the market with my two cute, lovable, adventurous boys. Fingers crossed they make my #1 dad status official with a custom coffee mug this year. 🤞🏼 ☕️ Stop on by the booth (or order online) and snag some muffins.

Feeling a tiny bit sad as I close the chapter on our 5 qt. kitchenaid mixing days. 😢 However, there are plenty of other things I want to focus my time on than the seemingly endless cycle [scale, mix, knead, clean] of our mixing days. As my father always reminds me, “work smarter...NOT harder.” ✌🏻 👨‍🍳
