Today may have felt a little frustrating for many of you, and we want to sincerely apologize for the longer lines, extended wait times, and overall experience some guests had today.
Unfortunately, the point of sale company we use pushed out a system update yesterday that caused a nationwide outage affecting card readers and ordering systems at many coffee shops across the country. Throughout the day, we were forced to process orders offline, which meant we could not print tickets, send drinks to our order screens, or even verify whether some card transactions successfully processed.
While we did everything we could to keep drinks flowing and serve everyone as quickly as possible, we know it wasn’t the level of experience you’ve come to expect from us, and for that, we are truly sorry.
If your order was incorrect, missing, or if you experienced any issues with payment today, please reach out to us directly so we can make it right.
Most importantly, we want to thank our incredible team. They were navigating a massive system failure on the busiest day of the week while still showing up with patience, kindness, and determination. We are beyond grateful for the way they handled an incredibly stressful situation.
