Oatmeal cream pies are ready.

However, I don’t like this filling recipe.

If you know me, I don’t like overly sweet toppings or frosting. This one is very sweet and not marshmallowy enough for what I wanted.

Is it bad? No. Just not up to par for me; they are marked down because I don’t love them and my family tells me I’m too critical of my baking 😂

these would likely be a big hit with kids, less likely with adults if you don’t like sweet buttercream like fillings.

They’re big and only $2. I’ll try again and make my own recipe for the filling 😅

You guyyyyyyssss 😭😭😭😭

In one month I get to celebrate ONE YEAR of being open.

One year of feeling the love and support from my community in my little dream.

I never thought I would use my culinary skills in this way. I often felt bakers are a dime a dozen and my treats wouldn’t be anything special. You guys remind me every week how far from the truth the voice in my head was. I don’t know how I can ever express my gratitude.

I love attending school events and meeting new people. I’m always so humbled by the kind things you guys express and how supportive you are.

I wanted to share a couple cool moments I had as an extra small business owner these past 11 months.

I had a teenage girl at a school event ask if I was hiring. That made me feel proud about how we presented everything. Unfortunately, I do not make enough to hire help 😅 regardless of how much I may want to some days!

I have found community and support from my favorite Cat Lounge Hunter's Kitten Lounge. I have felt so honored to be welcomed to provide treats for game and comedy nights. Along with helping them make their anniversary celebration and 2026 Kitten Shower extra sweet. I appreciate every thing you guys do for the cat community and thank you for letting us be, even the tiniest bit, part of it. Even if it means I keep bringing home more cats 😆 🐈

I plan to give away 12 free cookies- one for every month we’ve been open!starting June first (the best day ever- MY BIRTHDAY! 🥰😜). Keep your eyes peeled for fun games and chances to win a free treat This coming month, and thank you all for supporting Fat Cat Cookies.
