Beautifully Delicious Welcome to Beautifully Delicious. My kitchen is my happy place where I enjoy baking and decorating c I have been a hobby baker since I was in high school.

Over the years I have continued to try new things and always brought my experiments to work. After a while, people started requesting my cookies and cakes. Then, people started paying me a little for the goodies. With a lot of encouragement from my coworkers, family, and friends, I decided to give my small business a go! I bake out of my home after my full time work as a school-based speech langua

ge pathologist and usually after my own 2 daughters (5 & 2 years) go to bed. It makes for some late nights, but I thoroughly enjoy the process and outlet to create that baking and decorating bring me. I take great pride in my work to ensure it really does taste as good as it looks. I do not use fondant, but can make some pretty sweet buttercream creations. I use a combination of cookie glaze and royal icing for my cookies, which are a shortbread base. I love being challenged and will try just about anything. To all who have followed and supported BDKC Bakery over the years, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. Our family is getting busier as the girls are getting older and it is time for us to move on from the cookie biz. It is with gratefulness that we have decided to close our doors, but we plan to continue offering holiday classes at in Lee’s Summit.
