Happy Easter! The girls are packing the pollen away to make some bee bread for their babies. Like anything else, we suffer losses. One of our weaker hives didn’t make it through the winter, but they won’t go to waste! We’ll use their comb and other resources to help the other hives.

I could just sit around and watch them work all day. They’re probably just wondering whose taking apart their home! These boxes you see are the “supers” that they store their honey in for us to harvest! We leave the rest in larger boxes for the hive and their babies 🐝🐝
