I love baking for every single person who places an order, texts me, messages me or shouts in the hallways of work. It is truly my passion and love. I love hearing how yummy something is and how many more you want next time. It is truly a labor of love for me.
Working full time, taking care and providing good parenting to two young kiddos plus trying to bake as many things as I can has recently really taken a toll on me and has made me do some serious thinking and contemplating. I want to be there for everyone and everything but have learned itās not always best to stretch yourself thin. I want my kids to get the best version of their mom. My oldest will be in two sports this fall which will make life a tad hectic.
With that being said Iām going to scale back a little on how often I open ordering. Iām thinking twice a month for now and we will see how we do. Good thing is everything freezes so well! Breads (maybe not focaccia), cookies, scones and bagels have all frozen and reheated well for myself and a few other customers. This is not in any way saying I will never take a custom order for cookies, or breads or bagels. Donāt ever hesitate to reach out to me and if I feel I can do it I surely will!!
The best thing to do to keep up with when I will open orders is to subscribe to my Hotplate website! That will give you an automatic text the moment my orders open. I will of course post to socials but Hotplate is a guaranteed way to know the know.
I lastly want to thank everyone for all of the support Iāve had this whole journey. It means the world to me that you pick me to bake your goodies for you! When ordering is open I want to bake as much as possible so donāt ever feel any order is a burden to me or too much I will only make available what I feel I can make that week!
