Okay all you donut fiends - here’s the update. I just got the news that my cancer is in remission. You know what that means - it’s donut time! We are working to get the bakery in shape to open; I am building my strength back up, and we will open as soon as we can. So, stay tuned for the date! We miss everybody’s frosting covered faces!
Me 18 months ago and me now. Cancer care has come a long way, but early detection is critical. Don’t skip your annual exams! I want to thank everyone for the love and support during this ordeal. It has touched me more than words can say. Happy Mother's Day!

Up until last Wednesday,I had not had a chemo treatment for 6 weeks due to low blood counts. My old body just couldn't get to the right numbers! But during the last week, by body really went to work and my counts increased dramatically! I don't think a medical staff has seen anyone so excited to get chemo! I firmly believe that the outpouring of love and support from everyone participating in the GoFundMe account set up by my great team of friends had a positive impact. Thank you for all the support and to my extra special team of "assistant bakers".

Hey, everybody, it's spring, and many of you are wondering when we will open this year. So, here's what's going on. First of all, yes we will be opening soon, but we aren't sure the date yet. Last November I was diagnosed with cancer, which is why we had to close a little early last year. This winter has been treatments, from surgery to radiation to chemo. I am doing very well, but the treatments are going on longer than we initially thought they would. This leaves us unable to give an exact date. I do know it won't be in April; and although I hope for May, I can't be certain. We will know more after my next treatment, so stay tuned! We will see you soon, and we miss everybody! 😀🍩
Just to make sure everyone knows, we are currently closed for the season. For some reason Facebook won’t change my Saturday hours to closed so it says we are open. We aren’t. Sorry for the confusion. See you in the spring 🌸
Good morning everyone! Unfortunately we must close the bakery earlier than planned this year due to a health issue that needs to be dealt with. (Everything will be fine - no worries). This Saturday will be our last day. Thank you everyone for such a great season! Our customers are the BEST, and we appreciate each and every one of you. If we don’t see you this week, we will see you in April!
