Do you have a child, who loves to cook or bake? Then Wynton’s World Cooking School has a unique summer camp just for you! For a few weeks every June, July and August, campers have the opportunity to hang out and learn with some of the best chef instructors in the industry. Throughout the week, beginning with the basics of kitchen safety, campers will participate in hands-on Culinary or Pastry classes in the school’s kitchen – all while using real recipes easy enough to duplicate with the family at home. We also cover nutrition, ingredient information and food safety. Our Summer Cooking Camps will expand your child’s dining horizons, build math skills and self-esteem, promote teamwork and even get them to cook for you!

If this page still reaches anyone who is interested in knowing where to find me for their cakes, I’m pleased to share that I have a new, permanent home at Harris Teeter at Olde Raleigh Village on Edward’s Mill Road.
It’s been a long time since I’ve been lead cake decorator, and felt comfortable promising that I am willing and able to help you once again.

Another Dye-free cake for Museum of Natural Sciences in downtown Raleigh. "Weird Science" is one of their themes.

This will be my final cake for Aunt Carrie's Cake Shoppe. As some of you already know, I've started putting in more time at my old grocery store job, and I've applied for a full-time management position. (wish me luck!)
A great-big THANK YOU to all who supported, recommended, endorsed and even down-right bragged about my cakes to others. Please know that I appreciate all you have done for this business. I truly considered each customers' cake a challenge....How could I possibly make this cake better than the last one? What's going to make them say, "WOW!"
This year has been an incredible learning experience that I will take with me in all future endeavors. When I look at the 150+ cake pictures posted and all the happy reviews, I'd say the business was a success. I hope someday to return to Aunt Carrie's. In the meantime, well, let's just say I need find something a bit more sustainable with two kids in college.
