✨ Magical Realism at The Hill House ✨
What if a wedding day felt as though it had slipped quietly out of the pages of a novel?
For this editorial shoot at The Hill House, we took inspiration from the magical realism of Gabriel García Márquez—a world where the extraordinary appears in the middle of ordinary life, and no one thinks to question it.
Butterflies might gather around the wedding cake. Flowers seem to grow a little wilder than they should. Candlelight flickers across a table overflowing with color and texture. Two people sit together reading One Hundred Years of Solitude and Love in the Time of Cholera as though this is simply what one does on a wedding day.
And somehow, at The Hill House, it all makes perfect sense.
We leaned into the home’s vintage character to create something dreamy, romantic, a little unexpected, and wonderfully timeless—a celebration where reality and imagination blur just enough to make you wonder where one ends and the other begins.
