Another beautiful build complete with happy homeowners! This project features a little bit of everything from Trex — Trex Transcend Tiki Torch decking, Trex Transcend railing with white composite balusters and 5.5 inch rail posts, Trex RainEscape for a dry patio space below, and Trex low-voltage lighting for added safety and a great nighttime ambiance.

We truly enjoyed this project and appreciated the opportunity to work for such wonderful homeowners. During our two-week stay working on both the front and back of their home, they treated our crew with incredible kindness and hospitality. Projects like this are what make our work so rewarding.

The Men In Black are at it again! This week we’re building a large custom deck in Raleigh featuring the Trex RainEscape drainage system to create a dry patio space below the deck.

By channeling water away from the framing and into gutters, RainEscape allows the area underneath to become a functional outdoor living space instead of wasted square footage. Even on a rainy North Carolina day, the patio below stays dry and usable.

A little before-and-after magic! ✨

This project showcases Trex composite decking, Trex Signature black aluminum railings, and extensive PVC fascia work to both hide and protect the treated lumber framing. We also installed ScreenEze to keep screens tight and secure, along with low-voltage lighting for a warm, inviting glow at night.

Our antique to***co barn deck build is almost complete! Just a few final hours on Monday to wrap things up. The flower planters are built, Trex Signature railing is installed, and the staircase is finished. We’re excited to finish this project but hate to leave this beautiful place.

We’re incredibly fortunate to be trusted with builds on some truly beautiful properties. This project is a special one—a large build surrounding a restored antique to***co barn, perfectly positioned at the top of a hill.

The views and being surrounded by nature like this makes it an amazing place to work. It’s projects like these that remind us why we love what we do!

Two smaller deck projects wrapped up this week—both featuring Trex Transcend Lineage in the Hatteras color.

One homeowner went with clean crisp white PVC fascia, while the other chose matching Hatteras composite fascia. Same decking, completely different finished style.

It’s always interesting to see how something as simple as fascia choice can transform the overall feel of a build. The details matter when designing to match your home and style.

Sometimes, great things really do come in small packages!

On this project, we needed to keep the deck footprint compact due to window placement and the septic system. To maximize both aesthetics and functionality, we incorporated a wide set of stairs, creating a more open feel and improving the view from the back door.

This build features Trex Transcend Hatteras boards, 5.5” railing posts with a drink rail, post cap lighting, and white PVC fascia for a clean, finished look.
