This is my lemon 🍋 sugar cookie recipe! I top these cookies with vanilla buttercream icing so they end up reminding me of a lemon pound cake flavor. I offer my cookies topped with custom printed logos, images, or pictures. This is my original cookie dough recipe (vanilla almond flavor). It’s a no- chill recipe, but you can freeze any leftover dough to use in the future. I like to roll mine out between 2 pieces of plastic wrap to the 1/4” thickness and then just keep it wrapped in that plastic wrap and freeze it. That way it thaws faster and is ready to cut your shapes without kneading hard cold dough.

I enjoyed creating a variety of different flavors of sugar cookies for The Pooch Pad Foundation! They requested Original flavor (vanilla almond) along with strawberry and lemon! All of the cookies had the logo printed on top, and I packaged the cookies on trays for them so they’re ready for display at their events!
