UPDATE: CINNAMON BREAD SOLD OUT - 😵‍💫.
We can’t bring ourselves to post an AI picture of Dolly today. 😂 BUT… we did make a few mini loaves of Dollywood-inspired Cinnamon Bread.
And honestly? Pretty damn good with coffee and a rainy day.
There’s some good stuff happening at the Bakehouse this week.
🍅 Tomato Tarts — making the most of those precious end-of-summer Rainier Gardens tomatoes.
🌽 Elote Stuffed Brioche — because apparently we’re not ready to let summer go quietly.

WE’VE BEEN WAITING. 🍅
Tomato season is running a little late this year, and we have been patiently waiting for our favorite tomatoes from Rainier Gardens Farm.
Because tomato tarts at the Bakehouse aren’t an every day sort of thing. They’re a once-a-year, when-the-tomatoes-are-right sort of thing.
The tomatoes come from an amazing family that has been growing them for generations — saving seeds, starting plants in the greenhouse, trying new varieties, keeping old favorites and patiently waiting for that harvest.
And then they make their way to us.
We turn those beautiful tomatoes into one of our favorite things we make all year:
Tomato Tarts.
They’re finally here. 🍅
Once a year. While the tomatoes last.
Thank you, Rainier Gardens, for growing the good stuff and letting us turn it into something delicious. ❤️
