To our valued customers:
We always take our time in hand rolling our bagels and have done so since we’ve opened our doors for you. I take pride in that since not many bagel stores take the time to hand roll their bagels but it is what sets us apart from competition. To date we’ve rolled over 3,000,000 bagels without an incident like this unfortunate one & to never occur again! We take many precautions one of which is we’ve always made sure we prepared our product with black or colored gloves so if tears occurred they are quickly visible and easy to correct by simply changing gloves. Since this unfortunate and unprecedented incident we’ve taken additional precautions and implemented addition training and check-ins to ensure this truly is one in 3 million event and will not happen. Unfortunately, that included termination of the employee that hand-rolled this batch. We understand that even one in over three million bagels that is not to standards is one too many and ask that you accept our sincere apologies and assurance that this was an exception and our standards do not reflect nor will allow for reoccurrence.
Most importantly we want to thank all our loyal customer for their understanding and continued patronage.
