It's with a heavy heart that I announce I will no longer be accepting custom orders and will not be offering cookies for the holidays. I started this side hustling adventure as a way to pay off my student loans back in 2018 and it has continued to grow and surpass all my expectations. I have a real love for all things cookie and a very real love for all my customers.

I've also learned that it is very, very hard for me to say no, making this decision to close up shop very difficult. However, I have missed being able to say yes to my husband, my family, and my friends because I've said yes to cookies and a full time career. And while I am choosing to close for now, I hope this isn't "goodbye" but just "see ya later".

Recently, I read a blog post that said "Just because you can doesn't mean that you should." That's really resonated with me and this place I'm in right now. I am excited to not make cookies, to do projects around my house, spend time with my family and friends, and live a little more life and do a little less work ❤

Hi Friends! If you've filled out a custom order form recently and haven't heard from me yet, I apologize for the delay in response. I am working on getting back to you all in the next week. Cookies are a side "for fun - hustle" and my "real job" is very demanding right now and leaving very little time for anything extra. Thanks so much for your understanding.

Hi! I’m Katie Jo and Welcome to The Frosted Sugar Cookie. Located in Southwest Virginia - I am a home-based bakery operating under Virginia Cottage Law specializing in custom decorated sugar cookies. What started as a fun Christmas experiment after watching tons of Instagram videos has successfully turned into a fun side gig! By day I’m I work full time in the Biotech Industry - by night I’m a cookie boss babe.

Currently taking custom cookie orders for 2020 for all occasions and events.

Special Holiday orders to watch out for will be for the following: Valentines Day, St. Patricks Day, Mothers Day, Fathers Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.
