We have a few more eggs than we need right now! I have 2 - 18 pk eggs that range from largish to XLish. $6/pk

The girls get fed organic feed and fresh veggies/fruit and drink water from the outside tap. They are spoiled and have the ability to roam our chemical-free back yard.

Let me know if you’d like some eggs. I can do Venmo or cash and have a refrigerated cooler outside my front door for ease of pick-up.

I also have Grape Jelly from my own grapes from last fall. $5/half pint.

I’m registered with the State of MN under the cottage food law.

Hello!

It’s been A LONG TIME! I honestly haven’t been baking either (well, last night I threw a batch of chocolate chip bars in the oven to fulfill a craving we all had), but I’m still not baking. I am, however, still keeping my license renewed.

I have an edible image printer, and I would like to continue to offer a service of printing edible images that YOU can put on your homemade goodies. So, if you have a goofy picture of your loved one that needs special highlighting on a cake or something…..here’s your opportunity!

I also can print your business logos and other images that aren’t copyrighted.

Please reach out if interested. Prices will range from $10-$30 per sheet depending on the design - if already designed or you need my design help. Sheets can also contain several images….see coin examples in pictures. Multiple coins were printed on one 8.5”x11” sugar sheet.

Message from my wife.

Hey y'all - I have a hard time asking for favors/help, so I'm just going to put this out there:
If you would like to help at the Summerfest Dance from 9pm-11:30pm taking money/tickets, checking IDs, and putting on wristbands, we could desperately use volunteers for this shift.
Perks: you can come to the dance when it opens for FREE and receive a couple of free beverage tickets before helping at the shift. It's actually a lot of fun!
We could also use some older kids/teens for help on July 4th at Arts in the Park and the Homerun Derby - you can use the hours for service hours for school and such

It is with heavy heart that I will be cutting back on my baking and decorating for awhile. I’ve been struggling with my aching joints in my hands and wrists for some time, and it’s only getting worse. I’m slated to meet with a hand doctor for, most likely, a carpal tunnel surgery. I have no idea when that will be as it takes time just to get an appointment these days.

I probably will not be taking any orders until after that unless it’s for my immediate family, and then, I’ll probably have Greta help as she’s proving to be a better baker than me. So, if I share pictures, it’s not that I have taken orders over someone else’s wants, it’s most likely personal and I just want to share fun things.

Keep watch on my page though, I hope to share tips and recipes. ❤️

Ryan said he was craving a hot beef sandwich, so he put a chuck roast in the crockpot, and I made homemade bread for the occasion. Greta and I decided one loaf-style bread and one round loaf. Then, I decided to go on and make cinnamon chip bread and fruity pebble bars.

Needless to say, we’ve eaten A LOT of carbs today.

This week I was tasked with leaf cutout cookies for Mrs. Nancy's flashlight class (I can't wait to see pics), a cake to congratulate Sue at Root River Dental, and a cat cake for Cailyn! I guess I didn't realize how much the cake would turn out to look similar to Cailyn's real cat. Thank you for sharing that picture with me, it just warms my heart to make a girl so happy for her birthday.

Sue's Cake - dark chocolate cake layered with chocolate ganache and cream cheese frosting, side dessert I decided to throw in, dark chocolate cake pops dipped in dark chocolate Belgian chocolate, pretzel pieces and chocolate chips.

Cailyn's Cake - vanilla cake, vanilla buttercream frosting

Well, I got through all the apples from my tree. It took a couple of weeks to process through all of them because of lots of other things - work, orders, school activities, basically normal life.

I still had about 4 containers of apples to go through after making apple butter, apple jelly, raspberry applesauce, and cherry-blueberry applesauce. The really nice apples I used an apple slicer, soaked the slices in ginger ale and lemon juice, strained, and froze to use for smoothies, pies, crisps, you name it. The not-so-nice apples I cored and cut out bruises/blemishes and threw in the crockpot, peels and all. They cooked all day while I was working and doing all sorts of activities. Got home, used my immersion blender and made into a super smooth sauce - added cinnamon and a hint of brown sugar, stirred, poured onto parchment covered cookie sheets, baked at 170 degrees overnight, let dry out, realized they weren't done, baked overnight again and then sat in the oven all day (oven was not on), and cut up last night into fruit leathers.

They really do look like leather, but they taste so much better than leather. 😸 Definitely worth the effort!
