We want to start by saying a massive, heartfelt thank you. The love, kindness, and overwhelming support you have shown our family during this incredibly difficult time has meant more to us than words can ever say. This community is truly special.

As we navigate this new chapter, finding the right balance between keeping the bakery alive and being fully present for my children is my top priority. Because they need me now more than ever, we are updating our business hours.

Moving forward, A&J’s Bakery will be open:

While things look a little different, we are absolutely thrilled to open our doors again and welcome you back this weekend! Baking for you brings us so much comfort, and I know in my heart how happy and proud Jonathan would be to see the ovens warm, the bakery full of life, and our community continuing to rally around us.

We cannot wait to see your smiling faces. Come by this weekend to grab your favorites and share a smile (or a donut hole) with us!

To our incredible community, friends, and family,

Words cannot fully express the gratitude filling our hearts during this devastating time. Losing my husband has been the hardest experience our family has ever faced. Yet, looking around, we are profoundly moved by the overwhelming love, prayers, meals, and support you have wrapped around us.

We truly could not have endured this tragedy without each and every one of you. Your kindness has been a steady light in our darkest moments, reminding us that we are never alone.

To honor his memory, his passion, and the love he put into everything he did, we have decided to step forward and reopen the bakery on Friday, July 17th. Baking and serving this community brought him so much joy, and we want to continue that legacy in his honor.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing by us. We hope to see your familiar faces soon.

Dear everyone reading this,
this is Riley Curnow. I am the daughter of Amanda and Jon. I wanted to tell everyone this. I hate to say this, and I hate to have to bring the news but yesterday, on June 30th, 2026, my beloved father Jon Curnow passed away. He was an amazing husband, father, and a big impact on the community. It is so devastating that we all only got so little time with him and he will forever be remembered and in our hearts. We want to honor his legacy and the kindness and good memories he all gave us by keeping the bakery open. We will still show up for everyone just like he always did for the community and for our family. This is what he would've wanted, and we will respect that and do everything in our power to make sure he still feels loved and remembered. We do not know when we will open again, but we will post something when we are ready. For now, my only request is that for now we think of the happy and funny memories that he gave us and that we honor them.

Official Update: We’re moving our opening time! ☀️
Our team has been waking up at 1:30 AM—a time usually reserved for night owls and people who accidentally set their alarm with a calculator app. We’ve decided that we’d like to see what the sun looks like again!
Starting today (May 6th), we will now be opening at 4:00 AM.
We’re still up long before the sun to get everything ready for you so you will still find the same fresh donuts and bagels you love, but with a team that actually remembers what day it is. Thank you for supporting our local business! 🥯🍩
