~ANNOUNCEMENT~
I have come to the close of a record setting wedding season! We have been busy fulfilling orders and working on designer cakes for our many wedding clients during this 2022 season.

After a crazy couple of years I have made the decision to hang up my apron. Wait, hold on, let me rephrase. I am excited to focus on family, travel and myself (which, if you are in this industry, you know what I am talking about!!) I am stepping away from the daily grind. I am so thankful for the time I have had operating my business, meeting and working with so many amazing individuals.

I have been lucky enough to work alongside one of my dear friends, Robin Smith, owner of Deliciously Different. We formed a partnership a few years ago. Since then, I have worked and created in her kitchen. My apron will continue to hang there, as it is, just in case it is needed. Robin and her team will continue to create, bake and soon design cakes to keep the momentum going that The GingerSnap Cake Shop started.

As I slow things down, Robin on the other hand, is ramping things up. Her company is getting ready to open a new location on Dix Ave in Queensbury where she will be offering cakes and other baked goods, as well as food to go that she currently makes for her many catering clients. It will now be available to everyone, so exciting! (I’ll let you in on a little secret also, she has hired a young cake designer who will be relocating to this area soon, I am so excited to watch that young woman blossom and offer her some trade secrets!)

If you are looking for cakes I can assure you that the team at Deliciously Different will provide the same high quality baking you enjoyed by The GingerSnap Cake Shop! I have trained her team, so I know they use the finest ingredients and recipes that have been perfected to stand the test of time. Bringing in a designer will certainly keep things moving forward. I can't wait to watch as that team grows.

This journey has been life changing and I thank you all for your ongoing support and encouragement as I transition into the next chapter of my life.
