Since I can't seem to change the name of this page please allow me to refer you over to Beerbower Bread Co which will be our official page moving forward.

I am slowly integrating a new ordering system because any amount of scale simply cannot be managed by me in messaging and using notepads around the house that get moved by me or the kids. If you would like a loaf between bake days please still feel free to reach out, but if you just want to hop on a "bake day" to be sure you get your bread I'd love it if you would go sign up for notifications via our new ordering system, the Simply Bread App. They're an amazing company that caters to home bakers. They have created a bread oven for home use that includes a steam system directly to the decks so I can open bake and bake more than 2 loaves at a time. Stay tuned to the new page for when that arrives because I'm going to have to do some test baking and it'll be amazing to share all of those test loaves with our community!

Meanwhile, would you go check out our new ordering system and sign up for notifications? It'll only text you notifications of new bake days and reminders to pick up your orders.

We do have a bake day open now for Easter morning pick ups that you're welcome to place an order with. It is a bit of a soft launch while I learn the new system. Thank you all for your support and encouragement as we scale and grow with joy and gratitude!

Also, I don’t know why fb won’t change our page name. I’ve requested it several times and it says it’s processing but it never happens. I’ll probably have to create a new page at some point to get the name right but I’m not stressing over it for now.

Meanwhile, enjoy the Sari action figure that’ll be busy again in the kitchen tomorrow!

Don’t forget we are closed for the remainder of this week for orders but will be taking orders for the weekend, so if you need your bread fix just drop in to my DMs.

While there’s no bread content this week allow me to pontificate about pointe shoes 🤭🫣

We had to invest in pair number 3 last week because sudden foot cramps were assailing Eve. At first we had thought that it was a need for more hydration or magnesium (which are almost always in need) but that didn’t solve the problem. One day, 💡 , after seeing a pointe shoe reel it occurred to me that she may have grown out of her shoes!

So back to Bellevue we drove for another fitting. While their feet are still growing you get refit each time and this time the comfy pair was a new brand and about $25 less expensive so that was a pleasant surprise!

I am happy to report that last night’s pointe class resulted in zero foot cramps so that appears to have exactly been the problem at hand… and now we know.

Perhaps I should keep a running tally of pointe shoe costs just for funsies 😅😅🫣

This loaf features a rye flour blend with roasted brussel sprouts and a salted crust.

Pairs wonderfully with hummus!
