We’ve been busy trying out new recipes in search of the “OMG… this is THE recipe to make” moment. This week, we’ve tried smore brownies, peach cake, and 2 lemon bar recipes and have yet to find the one that meets our high standards. But in the meantime, for this week, we feel confident in offering:
Shortbread Jam Cookies
and
Oatmeal Cranberry Pecan Cookies
The shortbread cookies are the perfect cookie to have w coffee, or so say my parents. These are one of my mom’s favorite cookies because they are not too sweet and have the perfect texture that all homemade butter cookies should have. To quote my dad, “You’d be a fool not to try one.”
Our oatmeal cookies aren’t just any regular oatmeal cookies. They rise above other recipes because we roast the pecans to give the cookies that extra rich smokey flavor. And the cranberries offer a tart surprises w every crunch. We dare you to try them and not like them!
