Our Story
Between the Hills Farm is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains in Northern Virginia, about 4 miles south of historic Harpers Ferry National Park and northwest of Hillsboro. It is nestled in the valley between Short Hill Mountain (to the east) and Blue Ridge Mountain (to the west), and is within a few miles of the Potomac River, the Appalachian Trail, and a large number of wineries.
The farm is operated by Mark and Abby Mendes. For the 2019 season, we will open the day after Thanksgiving - Friday, November 29th, and will be open every following Saturday and Sunday until Christmas, from 9 am - 5 pm (or by special appointment - just give us a call).
We currently have over 1,500 beautiful Blue Spruce and Norway Spruce trees - you will have no trouble finding the one you love! We are also growing Fraser Fir and Canaan Fir that should be big enough to start selling next year. We currently have a lot of big trees and will be offering some great deals this season! After you select your Christmas Tree, be sure to visit the barn to warm up and enjoy some hot cider and cookies and see what other Christmas goodies are available!
