I’m know it’s late in the season and I should be emptying garden beds but there are still so many things blooming!
I just can’t. They’re just have to go into winter full and I’ll deal with it in the spring.

I love apple pie! We use the apple pie spice in more than just pie. It’s delicious in crisps, on ice cream, on oatmeal, in pancakes, on winter squash, just to name a few!

We took a little break from the farm and went camping. It was a little chilly but the food was hot and spirits were high.

Chai Dust S’mores! That was our Friday night… and it was delicious!!

Fire C***r-
A fall tradition on the farm.

After everything is (well not everything, but the necessary ingredients) harvested from the garden they get brought into the kitchen where they are steeped in raw apple c***r vinegar for 4-6 weeks. It’s then strained and combined with our fall harvested honey and a bit of pomegranate juice.

This year marks a couple “firsts” for us though
- We actually grew turmeric and ginger in the garden!
- We are offering our Fire C***r to You!

I’m half way through my busiest “season” (April to January) and stumbled upon this thought the other day.
Over the last few years I’ve really tried hard to slow down in each season. I’ve definitely made progress.
But I really like this way of thinking of it.

Okay I caved and gave the AI prompt a try and this is what I got for the herbal side of the farm. Too funny!😂

Anyway, my herb harvest for the year is almost finished. I have a few ideas of how I would like to offer them to you. ( cooking blends, tea blends, healing salves and tinctures… basically what I’m already doing)

What I’d like to hear is what YOU want to see first?
