Here they are…those patios and porches you’ll find us this summer when we head west! Most are out in the Marblehead + Catawba area, but we ALWAYS stop at Patina Porch in Sandusky on our way.

These are the places where the wine is chilled, the live music is playing (at most), the summer breezes can be felt and all your cares go away…

They’re my favorite spots to relax and rejuvenate and sometimes I think to myself…I can’t believe we’re just minutes from home as I feel FAR away from home.

Maybe I’ll see you there this summer ☀️

Can we please talk Patio Season? It’s my absolute favorite 💕

On Sundays during the summer, Brian and I can usually be found making this little trip out west…

No matter what, we ALWAYS start our day at Patina Porch in Sandusky. It’s eclectic, full of vintage and there’s absolutely nothing like it.

For a quiet little seat along the river, we also may visit Pipe Creek Wharf | Waterfront Dining (pictured here)

We then head out to Marblehead for some live music and boat views at Hidden Beach Bar official

Then it’s a visit to my most favorite spot to decompress - Rocky Point Winery - live music and Adirondack chairs in a tree covered back yard…I could sit here all day 💕

And then, if we’re lucky, we’ll find a few seats at orchardbarandtable new outdoor space for dinner. I’m obsessed with their freestanding bar - great food, great drinks and summer breezes overlooking the orchard. Swoon…

Whether she’s at the US Open, vacationing in Captiva or sitting in Bay Village on the 4th of July, she ALWAYS looks her nautical and east coast best.

Whether you’re at a baseball game, the airport, Kelley’s Island, Emilie’s Coffee Shop or on vacation somewhere in the world, my heart always fills when I see you in one of my CLE hats.

I started these several years ago when I launched a few colors with one of my summer collections. I had no clue what the response of the community would be. Several thousand hats later and loads of new color options, I’m still at it!

This is me saying I had SO. MUCH. FUN. in Florida and can’t wait to share alllllll things Cape Coral and Fort Myers with you, but also here to say I cannot seem to find enough hours in the day to go through 4 years of photos AND…

run a local coffee shop

and landscape my yard for the summer

and have family dinner every Monday night

and launch several new summer collections at CC

and have my grandchildren every Wednesday

and have ginormous fundraisers at the coffee shop the next two Saturdays

and have a social life with my husband (yes to dinner Sunday night, Grant and Nicole 🥂)

and launching some FUN new menus at the coffee shop

and, and, and…

My life is so full…really full…and I truly wouldn’t have it any other way.

All the details about our Florida Get-Aways are coming, I promise. Just will take me a minute (or month, or three) 💕

Although 3 weeks of this has been incredibly fabulous, I’ve missed seeing all my beautiful friends at the coffee shop. And I’m even more excited to launch our June menus because they are FAB. U. LOUS!!!!!

AND after a two year hiatus, a summer Coastal Cleveland Collection will be launching (SOON!!!)

This is one of my favorite spots in Cape Coral along with one of my most favorite salads. 💕

We love this spot for casual delicious dining, marina views, live music, great drinks and breezy porch dining. However, Emilie loves it because she has become the master lobster catcher of the family.

We have been here countless times over the years with friends and family and I’m wishing now that I had taken more pics with our guests!

It’s the place that Sophia had her first bite of lobster. (I actually do have pictures of that, but I’ll keep those close to me 😏)

Brian loves the Shrimp & Grits and the Oh My Gorg which is a hamburger with gargonzola, bacon, frizzled onions, pickles, arugula and thousand island dressing.

I love the Tipsy Sailor - prime filet tips, chimichurri and crostinis and the Wedge Pie - iceberg, tomatoes, blue cheese crumbles, grilled corn, avocado, pancetta and peppercorn ranch - with no crumbles and a side of truffle & parmesan fries

SO GOOD!!!

A lot of times, I get inspired on vacation for new menu items at the coffee shop. I’m going to play around with this salad. The corn, avocado and pancetta are 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻 I’ll explore some house made peppercorn ranch dressing recipes. Shake up the toppings a little. Watch for it on our July menu 💕
