It has been the longest 6 months of my life but guys...........WE DID IT! We finally have our VDAC approval! Their calendar year starts in July so we will get another certificate in the mail then that will take us into 2027. We still have some kinks to iron out on our end with pricing and buying a label maker and all that jazz but we wanted you all to know that we are officially back in business! So if you missed us get those orders placed until we do another event! Thank you all for your patience and your support. WE DID IT!

Well gang I finally have an update! All of our paperwork has finally been approved after 12 long weeks! Now we are waiting to hear from our inspector for our home inspection. As soon as we have more info we will let y'all know! Thanks for all of the messages and calls wondering how we are doing and for your continued support. We're getting close guys!

We have our septic approval! I'm going to do my very best to get the rest of the paperwork done and send everything to VDAC this weekend and then we wait 😔 They say it can take several weeks for the application process and then they schedule the home visit. So fingers crossed for a swift review of our application!

Just wanted to give everyone an update. We have our zoning approval and as soon as mother nature calms down we have someone coming to inspect our septic to make sure its adequate for our business. I've spent countless hours on our laptop getting all the info VDAC needs to be able to come and inspect our kitchen. We are just waiting on septic approval and then tons of paperwork. Just want to say thank you again for your patience and your love and support of our business.....and to the all the drama and haters, ya'll are nothing but motivation baby.

This is gonna be a long and heartbreaking post to make but please read it until the end. We have always been transparent about being a home bakery. We have never tried to deceive anyone. Someone took it upon themselves to contact the health department who informed us that since our cheesecake was temperature controlled we needed to have our home inspected to be able to continue selling it....we currently do not have a home inspection. With that being said we have to shut down our home bakery effective immediately until we can find a ghost kitchen that is certified or get our home kitchen certified. We will not be at the mall event tomorrow or any other event until this situation is resolved. We thank you all so much for 4 years of consistent support. We love you for it. Hopefully we will be back in business soon. I do apologize for everyone who was coming out tomorrow or who has placed an order with us for pickup tomorrow. I did just receive this information today. We hope to be back soon. Thank you all so very much.
