Maximus isn’t just running out of time.
He’s standing at the very edge of it.

This sweet 6‑year‑old XL bully has until Tuesday, Feb 17th. When that day arrives, if no foster has stepped forward, he will be euthanized. He doesn’t understand why. He doesn’t know what’s coming. He only knows he’s waiting — hoping — for someone to finally see him. 🥺

Maximus, he needs to be the ONLY DOG in the home so he can rest, decompress, and feel safe for the first time in his life. He’s tired. He’s overwhelmed. And he’s been carrying more than any dog should ever have to. 💔

He isn’t broken.
He isn’t “too much.”
He’s a good dog who has never had a soft place to land — not once. And now, with the clock nearly at zero, he’s watching the world pass him by from behind kennel bars, wondering why no one has stopped for him. 😢

Picture him tonight, curled up on a thin blanket, listening to the echoes of a place that scares him…
