Hi neighbors!! 👋 I know most of you know but I realized I haven't shared an official update on here so wanted to go ahead and drop in to officially share that our little bake shop is closed. 🥹✨
My girls and I began selling baked goods in fall 2023 and we did our last round of pickups this past fall of 2024. As we have now closed this season, I wanted to share what an incredible blessing you all were to my family in that one year.
My intention in selling baked goods was to familiarize my kids with what it meant to work hard, use our gifts to earn some extra $, bless others, and build relationships in our community.
What I never predicted was a family of customers and friends that truly loved and supported us every single time we posted our pickups. We got so excited seeing all the orders roll in and so appreciated every one of you. We developed relationships we will always cherish. You all made me so proud to live in this community!!!
One of my favorite memories from last year was early on driving around this neighborhood we call home and having our girls deliver door to door orders with so much pride. Then to see your faces light up when you saw them and to hear about how much you loved our goodies was the icing on the cake (pun intended 😉).
In business there comes a point where you have to make a decision to go big or move on. Our business grew so much in that year, it became too big for me. What started as a fun little side biz, had both my husband and I all hands on deck and the quantities we were producing at home had me working a 2nd full-time job, burnt out, and overwhelmed.
Again, I am sooooo grateful for that level of support from all of you. For a serious baker, the next logical step would have been to purchase commercial-grade equipment and potentially open a store-front.
But for me, since owning a bakery was never my end-goal or lifelong dream, I felt the time was right to start pulling back and focus more on the things most importantly to me -- my family.
I truly believe there is a season for everything and I'm so glad we had this year to learn and grow. This small business taught me so much and I'll forever be grateful for all of you that came out of this!
If you have a passion for baking and are looking to open or grow your small business, please send me a message! I have lots of equipment & bakery boxes I will be selling and I'd love to pass on to you!

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the amazing and fun cookie adventure!!!! 🤍✨ I'll always have the best memories of this chapter and I'm so grateful you gave me and my girls this opportunity.
