As some of you may remember, K's Cookie Creations was started by myself and my dear friend, Kayla, when I was in San Angelo, TX. Unfortunately, Kayla's husband passed away last weekend. I am beyond heartbroken for her and their three children. Living so far away from her is difficult and I've been trying to figure out what I can do for her from here.

After much thought, I have decided that it is time for me to take a step back from cookies. This is something that I’ve been thinking about for months now, but it’s time.

I will no longer be taking orders. I don’t know when or if I will again. I’m not sure where I’m going from here honestly. I will keep this page as a hobby page rather than business and to share cookies that I’ve created.

I started cookies over 5 years ago when I was in Texas. I truly loved it. It was so much fun to see what I could create and became a great creative outlet for me. I decided to give it a shot and make it a business with my friend, Kayla, so that I could earn some income while staying home with the kids. It turned into something I never imagined it would!

We quickly became booked for months at a time. I was overly excited. I loved seeing what we created, loved when our clients saw their cookies, I loved everything about it. Then my family packed up and moved to Maryland.

It took about a year of living in Maryland before I was getting steady orders. Again I got excited and went full force. My boys were in school and I was able to do as much as I could on orders during the day. But the reality was, they would get home from school and I would be working on an order until well after they went to bed. They started asking me almost daily when I was going to be done making cookies forever. It broke my heart.

The last few months have allowed me to reprioritize what is most important to me. I have enjoyed the time with my boys and family...time that I won’t get back. They’re not so little anymore and I don’t want to miss that time.

Thank you all so much for your continued support of my small business. It’s because of you that I have been able to stay home with my boys and spend time doing something that I loved and I am forever grateful! ❤️

I’ve always wanted to make The University of Kansas cookies, but I’m currently in Maryland, so what are the chances?! I’m originally from Kansas and KU has been an important school in my family for a long time, so I was super excited when I received this high school graduation order for a future Jayhawk! Congrats grads!

I’m super bummed that I wasn’t able to offer Easter cookies this year, but thanks to the amazing team at bloom Daily Planners, I still got to make some! Check out their stories on Instagram to see an Easter cookie diy video that I made. These aren’t my typical royal icing cookies - I tried my hand at buttercream for this! 🐰 🥕 🐣

Good morning! If you ordered a cookie kit, pick up is from 12pm-4pm today! I will have a table set up on my porch and orders will be placed in alphabetical order by last name. Your name is on the front of the bag. If you ordered more than 1 kit, you have multiple bags.

Please be mindful and keep your distance from others during pick up. If you need my address again, please message me! You can also find it on your invoice in email. 🙂 Thank you!

Hi everyone! I hope you all are staying healthy and sane! I’m curious - would anyone be interested in spring themed cookie kits as something to do with your kids during this crazy time?! It would be similar to this picture.

I’m just trying to see interest at this point and if there’s enough interest, then I’ll put it out there for ordering! I’m thinking of offering both 1/2 dozen kits and dozen kits. Let me know below if this would interest you! Thank you! ☺️
