We’re so excited to officially open the doors and welcome you into our space. Lucky Mud is a coffee shop, pub and bakery built around good food, great drinks, and community connection. This business was formerly known as Some Like It Hot.

Weekly Hours:
Wednesday 8AM – 3PM
Thursday 8AM – 3PM
Friday 8AM – 8PM
Saturday 8AM – 3PM

New Location: 132 Saint Anthony Street South, Preston, MN

We’ll be serving coffee, espresso drinks, baked goods, craft beer, and cocktails.
Our lunch menu will be available from 11AM–2PM, and on Fridays we’ll feature a separate pub food menu from 5PM–8PM.

Thank you to everyone who has encouraged us along the way — we can’t wait to see familiar faces and meet new ones. This has been a labor of love, and we can’t wait to welcome you in. Come grab a coffee and say hello!

Though we haven't opened our doors yet in our new "Lucky Mud" location in Preston, we are open for baking/catering orders. You can order online at somelikeithotcc.com or call us at 507-273-9460.

We do need a 48 hour notice for orders.

We will be announcing our opening date within a couple days. We are just finishing up a few things.

For the past 24 years, Some Like It Hot has had the privilege of serving the community from our Spring Valley location. Your continued support has been the foundation of our growth, and we are deeply grateful to each of you for being part of this journey.

With a saddened heart, today will be our last day open in Spring Valley. We will be open until 2:00pm. We look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces over in Preston once we are up and running.

Today we are offering 50% off all holiday and home decor. Stop in for those last minute gifts and be sure and bring hugs! If I'm teary eyed it's because I'm going to miss all of you...but again only 15 mins away.
