Hey y’all! We are getting close to our 1k followers, so we wanted to take a minute to introduce ourselves and share a little about the family behind The Edgy Farm Stand ❤️
I’m Paige, the daughter behind the Dad & Daughter duo!
My husband and I have been married for 14 years, and together we have four amazing children—three boys (11, 9, and 7) and our daughter who is 3. We love Jesus and do our best to live a life that glorifies Him. We attend church at River of Worship Center and are incredibly thankful for our church family.
We live on a family compound alongside my parents, who are raising two of their grandchildren. Family means everything to us. We also have a sister and brother-in-law in Baton Rouge who we are very close with and who are starting their own farming journey. Before long, you'll be seeing honey from their hives stocked right here at the stand! We have another sister and brother-in-law in in Indiana that we visit as much as possible that also have their own little farm, raising pigs and chickens. We are a family that loves farming, raising animals, growing our own food, and living a homestead lifestyle. We believe in hard work, fresh food, and creating a life centered around faith, family, and community. We are also incredibly blessed with a large circle of family and friends who love us, encourage us, and support us every step of the way. The Edgy Farm Stand may have started with our little family, but it wouldn't be what it is today without the village of people cheering us on behind the scenes. ❤️
Now for how this whole adventure began...
Our little homestead journey started back in 2020 when we got chickens for fresh eggs. In 2021 we added goats for milk, started raising meat chickens, and planted my very first garden. Deep down, I had always dreamed of having a little farm stand with fresh eggs, garden goodies, goat milk soap, and homemade baked goods.
At the time though, life was busy. I was homeschooling three boys while also running my own business for 10 years. I traveled all over the country doing hair and makeup for weddings and pageants, including Miss USA and Miss Teen USA.
Then in 2023, our lives changed overnight.
We had a niece born with NAS, and very unexpectedly we became foster parents. She spent her first month in the NICU, and once she came home, we spent the next year navigating court hearings and fighting to adopt her. I ultimately closed my business so I could be home full-time with our daughter while she attended therapy four days a week.
She is 3 now, things are finally settling down a little, and my amazing husband has supported this farm stand dream every step of the way ❤️
We started this stand in an old chicken coop sitting in our yard because honestly… we had no idea if anyone would even stop by. Five weeks later, we outgrew it and upgraded to the stand you see today!
Now here we are only 13 weeks in, completely blown away by the love and support from this community. Every purchase, every kind comment, every share, and every stop at the stand means more to our family than you know.
When you shop our stand, you're not supporting a big company. You're supporting a family doing their best, working hard, raising kids, caring for animals, and chasing a dream that God placed on our hearts. Every purchase helps support our family, our homestead, and this little stand we've poured so much love into.
Thank you for supporting our dream, our family, and our little farm stand. We truly could not do this without all of you. ❤️
And don't worry... I'll be sharing about the dad half of our duo soon 😊
If you made it this far drop a comment so I can personally thank you for sticking though my long winded post. I promise I tried to keep it short 😅
