It’s almost that time of year again…. May!! Did you know that May is brain tumor awareness month??!!! This has special significance for our family. I have a lot of new followers so I’ll take a moment to share.
Five years ago, we heard the news no parent should ever have to hear, “Your child has cancer”. Over the course of the last five years, our son has had to endure multiple surgeries, treatments, more scans than I can count, bloodwork, echocardiograms, numerous doctor appointments, managing side effects that no human being should ever have to endure. Through it all, he has been able to push through the bad days and thrive. One of the most memorable gifts that he received was from the Make A Wish foundation.
Make A Wish is an organization that helps to grant just one wish for a child with a serious medical condition.
This year, in honor of my son, and to help other kids going through a tough time, please consider ordering a May box of the month. Each box will include 12 assorted cookies and one of the flavors will be a NEW COOKIE!!!
