I have gotten a few messages lately about how hard it is to find a bakery that makes alternative options such as vegan, dairy free, gluten free, and grain free that is also committed to using no seed oils. I am not in a place where I can launch a full business right now. Unless God brings clear vision, funding, and a business partner or two, my bakery is on hold for a few years. But, I am committed to being healthy and teaching others. As I perfect my recipes, I’m willing to share tips with anyone who asks! Need suggestions for best gluten free flours? I got ya. Need best dairy free butter that’s seed oil free? I got ya. If you are looking for a simple switch to start, get rid of all canola oils, vegetable oils, sunflower oils, grape seed oils, soybean oils, and crisco. Use avocado oil, olive oil, or coconut oil in its place. Same ratio. For cakes and cupcakes, I like coconut oil (minus pumpkin spice and carrot cakes. It makes a weird flavor. For those I use avocado oil). It’s a simple change, but it makes a world of difference in our health!
